Click through each of the following images to check out each tiny house… you’ll definitely want to keep checking back as we’ll be adding more photos next week!

Cool Rooftop Hot Tub

This home, built in 1931, is small but has a big heart. With a concrete loft space below the 1st floor and open loft spaces above it, the house was never meant to be lived in but rather was built as a business property. What might have been seen as detrimental design features, like the basement level without windows or the car that sits on top of the roof are now re-purposed into one of their favorite parts of this home – their rooftop hot tub!

Gorgeous Scenery in This Tiny House

Hidden on a rocky hill in Southern Vermont is the most gorgeous, cozy home I’ve seen this week. With floor-to-ceiling windows lining one wall, you’re greeted with stunning views of the woods just a stone’s throw away. A beautiful staircase stands in the back corner and leads up to an attic level where guests are offered beds for overnight stays.

Big Dining Room in a Small Space

A lot of people think that a smaller space means they have to give up some of their favorite aspects of living. But one great way to make your house feel bigger is by extending the size of your big rooms. The dining room in this photo could be reworked into a living room, or even transformed into an office with the right furniture!

Trendy Coffee Shop in an Apartment Building

Savvy small business owners are turning low cost apartments into trendy coffee shops, wine bars, and more. When rents are on the rise and landlords can demand higher monthly payments, many young people have found it easier to get their own place and open a small business on the side than to find an affordable commercial space that’s off the beaten path.

An Interesting Use of Space for a Dorm Room

To me, the coolest dorm room of the bunch is Lisa Benavides‘ Yellow Room. While the dorm room doesn’t have the exceptionally small square footage, there’s a level of creativity used in maximizing space that makes it worth admiring. Plus, I really like that her desk doubles as a storage unit for off-season clothes–makes perfect sense to me!

Breathtaking Views Through Open Doors

Open doorways are one of the best ways to add the feeling of expansive, open living space. Not to mention that a little light will work wonders for your home’s energy. Check out these small homes with tons of natural light streaming in through wide-open entrances!

Unexpectedly Cute Tiny Castle

With a concrete loft space below the 1st floor and open loft spaces above it, the house was never meant to be lived in but rather was built as a business property. What might have been seen as detrimental design features, like the basement level without windows or the car that sits on top of the roof are now re-purposed into one of their favorite parts of this home – their rooftop hot tub!

Modern Minimalist Style Home

This week’s homes are the perfect mix of new, modern minimalism with traditional homes that have been updated to reflect a more eco-friendly lifestyle. Though you might think that having a lot of square footage equates to better home design, sometimes less is more. No matter what kind of taste you may prefer, it’s hard not to get excited about these five spaces.

Romantic Little Cabin in the Woods

Nestled in the woods of North Carolina, this small cabin is the perfect getaway. The exterior features stacked logs with a dark stain and contrasting black steel siding to create a dramatic look, while the inside has that cozy cabin feel. With high ceilings, beautiful windows and stone flooring throughout, this little place looks bigger than it actually is. And to make sure you’re never out of touch with your nearest loved one, there’s even an outdoor phone booth!
