  1. Living room

A foyer opens up to a cozy living room. On the back wall are three windows, flanked by two doors, one of which leads to the dining room and the other to the kitchen. Between them is a fireplace mantel decorated with an arrangement of terracotta pots. The room is welcoming and spacious at over 1800 square feet. Entering from the front door, you find yourself in a common space that includes the living room and dining area.

  1. Dining room

Families have been enjoying a homemade breakfast at the long farm table in the dining room of The Scholl Farmhouse for decades. During dinner, guests find a cozy spot on the sofa next to the fireplace, or head up to one of four bedrooms on the second floor and claim a king-sized bed.

  1. Kitchen

This farmhouse didn’t just have the charm of a home built in the 1800s, it was equipped with modern amenities such as a stainless steel oven, cooktop, and dishwasher. The chef’s kitchen contained custom-made workbenches and storage solutions to help create an easy workflow.

  1. Master bedroom

Today I’m taking you to the master bedroom on this tour. My favorite feature of this space is the industrial bed, which is made out of a ladder! It’s like sleeping in an art installation and comes complete with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

  1. Guest bedroom

As guests of the home, we had an entire upstairs level to explore. Upstairs there were three guest bedrooms and a beautiful bathroom. Our bedroom was so cozy, the perfect place to snuggle up for a movie on cold winter nights. The bathroom included a large soaking tub, perfect for escaping after long days in the winter sun.

  1. Laundry/bathroom

In keeping with the farm theme, a large modern barn-style door is the first thing you’ll see when you walk through the entryway of this home. Behind it, a well-equipped laundry room welcomes you and features ample storage space and all of the latest appliances. Outfitted with clean white walls and tile flooring, it’s an inviting place to pick up your items or do some sewing after the dishes are done. Besides, it is a fully stocked linen closet to get any bed made in just minutes.

  1. Backyard

Entering the Scholl Farmhouse through the back gate, one is met with a quaint garden enclosed by a tall stone wall. The ivy-covered garden beds border an oversized two-tiered wooden deck that overlooks a fountain and a lushly wooded backyard. Surrounding the backyard is the main pasture where horses live when they are not grazing on the acres of land in front of their barn.

  1. TOILET

There are two full bathrooms, one on the first floor and one on the second. The bathroom downstairs has a cozy bathtub right next to a vintage 1950s pedestal sink. In addition, the hallways in this house have beautiful hardwood floors with soft carpet runners in various spots, making it an ideal space for all your winter walks (or sneaks) in just socks or slippers.

  1. Garage

An established home built in 1879, it has been expanded and redesigned to create modern farmhouse vibes. The first floor of the home contains an updated kitchen and dining room, living room, bathroom, bedroom, sunroom, and mudroom. The second floor contains two bedrooms including a master suite with a sitting area and full bathroom. There is also a basement that houses laundry facilities and plenty of storage space.
