But don’t worry, we’ve tested four different methods that show promise in removing those pesky marks and we’re going to tell you which one works best!
Is there an easy way to remove deodorant marks?
We all know the feeling of getting ready for a big meeting or date and realizing there’s a deodorant mark on our shirts. It’s the worst! But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. We tested four different methods for removing deodorant marks and this one came out on top. All you need is a soft cloth, some water and dish soap (we recommend Dawn). Rub the dish soap over the area with the mark and then rinse with water. You may have to do it more than once but it works like a charm.
What will it take to get rid of them?
Deodorant marks happen to the best of us. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. We tested four popular methods for removing deodorant marks and the results are in. Here’s what you’ll need to get rid of those pesky marks -Kiwi fruit: Wash with warm water first before using a dry kiwi fruit as a scrubber.
-Toothpaste: Rub toothpaste on the area before washing with soap and water.
-Baby oil: Apply baby oil to your fingers and rub it over the mark until it fades away.
-Hand sanitizer: Dab hand sanitizer onto a cotton ball and dab it on top of the mark until it disappears.
Method 1 – Rubbing Alcohol
We first tried rubbing alcohol, which is known for being a powerful stain remover. We soaked a cotton ball in rubbing alcohol and rubbed it on the deodorant marks. The results were mixed – some of the marks came off, but others seemed to get darker. Overall, we weren’t impressed with this method. Method 2 – Lemon Juice: Next, we tested lemon juice. For this one, you mix 1 teaspoon of lemon juice with 2 teaspoons of water and apply it to the deodorant marks with a cotton ball. We found that more stains came off than with rubbing alcohol. Method 3 – Dish Soap: Dish soap was our next contender. Mix together 1 tablespoon dish soap and 1 cup warm water then apply to your shirt using a sponge or rag.
Method 2 – Ammonia
We found that the best way to remove deodorant marks is with ammonia. It’s quick, easy, and effective. Plus, it’s affordable and readily available. Here’s how to do it
1) Make a solution of one cup of water mixed with two tablespoons of household ammonia.
2) Dip a cotton ball into the solution and dab at the area you want to clean until the deodorant mark disappears.
3) Use a dry cloth or paper towel to wipe away any remaining residue or droplets.
4) Repeat as necessary until all traces are gone.
